BASIC TANZANIA SAFARI
General recommended routes
The number of plans is endless depending on the length of stay, season, purpose, and preferences. Also, since the flight time from Your Country is around 24 hours one way, including transfers, the total number of vacation days will be the number of days you stay in the destination plus at least 2 days.
Day 1 :Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport
Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport in the afternoon by Ethiopian Airlines or Qatar Airways. A driver will greet you at the airport with a paper with your name on it. Travel by car for 1.5 to 2 hours to Arusha city. Dinner at the hotel.
During a safari, you tend to get less exercise from being shaken around in a car for long periods of time, so after a full day of flying, it is recommended that you stay in Arusha for two nights and take a stroll through the lush mountain foothills and interact with the local people to get in shape.
Hotels: The African Tulip, Ilboru Haven Homes, etc.

After lunch, go on a safari. You can also change the safari in Ngorongoro to Tarangire National Park. We also recommend having lunch at the Ngorongoro Lodge Melia Collection, enjoying the spectacular view of the Ngorongoro Crater, before heading straight to the Serengeti.

The safari begins at 6am. Animals are most active in the early morning and evening. Feel free to take a long drive with a packed lunch, relax at the lodge, or chat with your guide.
Safaris in Ndutu, southern Serengeti, from February to April, and safaris to see the wildebeest migrating in northern Serengeti, from August to September, require an additional two to three nights. By traveling by light aircraft (Cessna) round trip or one way between Arusha and Serengeti, it is possible to reduce the total number of days by one or two nights. Please contact us for details.
